The second group of intending umrah pilgrims under Humaira Travel Centre left for Makkah on Tuesday.
A Doa Selamat was recited before departure at the Brunei International Airport.
Among the intending pilgrims was Siti Sara binti Abdullah, accompanied by her children Pengiran Siti Jamaljulyana binti Pengiran Jamaludin, Pengiran Sadidin bin Pengiran Jamaludin and other family members, making it her first umrah pilgrimage. Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, hoping to perform haj in the future.
They were told to practice healthy eating, reduce caffeine intake and take vitamins and health supplements prior to departure.
They also sought advise from family members who have performed umrah aside from the pre-departure briefing from travel agency officials.
They also recited Zikir whenever possible, performed Sunnat prayers and recited Al-Quran. – Lyna Mohamad
