The Immigration and National Registration Department (INRD) will open counters for new registration, renewal, and replacement of damaged or lost green identification card (IC) effective October 10.
For registration, applicants can book an appointment via the QueUp mobile application, walk-in to the INRD headquarters or departmental branches.
Operating hours for IC registration and collection at the headquarters are from Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 7.45am to 4pm, while other department branches will operate from 7.45am to 11 am and 1.30pm to 4pm. The counter operates from 8am to 11am on Fridays.
The department advised applicants to have application forms completed, and to bring documents to ease the registration process. Applicants also need to be physically present during the distribution of queue numbers.
