Green Brunei is inviting the public to participate in their sustainability efforts by bringing recyclable household items to their Recycling Drive at the Ground Level of Kontena Park Parking Lot on February 5 from 9am to 1pm.
Items accepted in the recycling drive are paper, newspaper, cardboard, metal (rinsed out and emptied) and electronic waste (computer waste). The recycling drive does not accept plastic, glass, styrofoam or glossy paper.
The event aims to educate the public of proper waste management while also supporting the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat’s efforts in reducing municipal waste by one kilogramme per person a day by 2035.
