The Tutong Youth and Sports Department, collaborating for the first time with Malam Minggu Pusat Belia (MMPB), launched the ‘Indahnya Berbagi Menuai Berkah’ community outreach programme titled ‘Donate Your Boots For Roots’.
Director of the Youth and Sports Department at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajah Umi Kalthum binti Haji Abdul Karim was among those present at the launch event.
The project is an initiative collecting new or used football boots from the public via donation boxes set up across the Sultanate.
The public can donate football boots at the Tutong Sports Complex in the Tutong District, at the Sports Gallery Room in the Brunei-Muara District, at the Temburong Sports Complex in the Temburong District and at the Mumong Sports Complex in the Belait District until November 15. – Azlan Othman
