Haji Mohamad Azif bin Haji Ayop was named the grand prize winner of the Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) Gemilang Property Financing Promotion 2023-2024 yesterday, walking away with a brand-new Toyota Corolla Cross.
The grand draw and prize presentation ceremony, held at the main entrance of The Airport Mall, Berakas, saw Madeli bin Haji Julaili awarded a travel package worth BND5,000 as the runner-up.
Haji Mohamad Azif expressed his surprise and gratitude upon winning the prize. “I was really surprised to win the grand prize today. I didn’t expect it. I thought winning any prize would be good enough. Alhamdulillah, it’s rezeki. I have yet to decide what to do with the new car,” he shared.
The public servant revealed that he became eligible for the draw after applying for a housing loan with Perbadanan TAIB to renovate his home. “I have been a TAIB customer for a long time, and we’ve built trust in their products and services,” he added.
Perbadanan TAIB Managing Director Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim presented the prizes and praised participants for their involvement and expressed heartfelt gratitude to loyal customers for their continued support.
The Gemilang Property Financing Promotion, which ran from September 1, 2023, to August 31, aimed to showcase Perbadanan TAIB’s Property Financing product. The campaign was open to customers with a minimum approved financing amount of BND100,000 and a tenure of at least 12 years.
The event marked another milestone in Perbadanan TAIB’s efforts to foster customer loyalty and solidifying its position as a trusted financial institution in the Sultanate. – James Kon
