Rashidatun Nazwa binti Rosli was awarded the grand prize of BND5,000 during the final draw of the Kia Inspiring Move Promotion at Kia Brunei’s showroom yesterday.
In an interview, Rashidatun Nazwa expressed gratitude, revealing that she plans to use the prize to settle her umrah package scheduled for March next year. “Alhamdulillah, the grand prize came at the perfect time. I had already paid the deposit and was planning to settle the balance by the end of the year,” she said.
Rashidatun Nazwa, who purchased a Kia Carnival for her parents, shared that she was initially unaware of the promotion until she received a notification about being one of the finalists. She extended her thanks to Kia, her parents and salesman Naim for their support.
The second prize of BND3,000 was awarded to Hajah Rosidah binti Haji Abas, while the third prize of BND2,000 went to Mohamad Husni Azhani bin Haji Mohd Zaidi. Additional prizes included cash rewards of BND500 and Samsung Galaxy smartphones, highlighting Kia’s commitment to rewarding its loyal customers.
Over 500 customers participated in the promotion organised by Grand Motors Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Kia vehicles in Brunei Darussalam. The campaign, from September 1 to November 30, was open to customers who purchased any Kia model during the period, giving them the chance to win exciting prizes.
BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad Off-site Sales Manager Mohamad Asmali Razali, BIBD At-Tamwil Berhad Head of Operations Azri Gharif, Baiduri Finance Berhad Sales Officer Suwardi Wahab and Baiduri Finance Head of Sales Division Haji Muhammad Ali bin Begawan Mudim Haji Metussin presented the prizes.
In a separate draw, Lim Chee Choun and his wife won a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Australian Open 2025. The package includes round-trip airfare, hotel accommodation, a guided tour and tickets to a match at the tennis event.
The prize was handed over by Grand Motors Managing Director Frankie Ho.
Lim Chee Choun participated in the promotion by test-driving Kia’s latest electric vehicles (EV), including the EV5, EV6, and EV9, before deciding to purchase the EV9.
The campaign, which emphasised Kia’s commitment to ‘Make Your Move’, showcased their innovative line-up of EVs, reflecting the future of mobility and sustainability. – James Kon
