As the curtains drew on LCB Extraordinary November 2023, Laksamana College of Business (LCB) recently hosted a closing ceremony to celebrate the success of a month of weekends filled with student-organised events.
The weekend kicked off with a culinary event presented by the LCB’s culinary students. The event featured three-course Indonesian themed meals, giving patrons a chance to experience the cuisine.
The event continued with the BTEC Level 3 Diploma students hosting the LCB Chill Weekend from November 18 to 19 at the college, featuring an array of food and beverage stalls.
Meanwhile, LCB Korean students showcased their talents in a K-Pop event featuring dances and singing performances.
The grand finale of the event was a lucky draw.
The LCB Extraordinary November was part of the ‘Managing an Event’ module, that exemplified the culmination of hard work, creativity and dedication from the students.
The initiative not only served as a platform to showcase the students’ achievements but also provided hands-on experience in event management and organisation. – Azlan Othman
