His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam graced the Persantapan Diraja ceremony yesterday.
The royal banquet at Balai Persantapan, Istana Nurul Iman celebrated the newlyweds Her Royal Highness Princess ‘Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Muda Bahar ibni His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

Datin Paduka Seri Dayang Hajah Mariam binti Haji Abdul Aziz was also present. Members of the royal family of Pahang and Johor were also in attendance.
State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz read Doa Selamat prior to the start of the event.
Draped in a grey ensemble and walking side by side, the royal bride and groom’s entrance enthralled those present, filling the banquet hall with excitement.
Guests showered the royal couple with blessings while enjoying a lavish spread of delicacies while being entertained by musical performances.
Dressed in their finest white dress and suits customary to palace ceremonies, guests comprising state and foreign dignitaries, senior government officials as well as current and former Cabinet ministers greeted the royal couple.
The Istiadat Menutup Gendang Jaga-Jaga and Doa Selamat ceremony will be held at Istana Nurul Iman today to mark the conclusion of the 10-day Istiadat Perkahwinan Diraja ceremony.
