Gotta ‘catch ’em all’ in style

(CNA) – Renowned luxury brand Tiffany & Co has unveiled a collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham, in conjunction with the Pokemon franchise, utilising his distinct Future Relics style, which transforms ordinary items into futuristic archaeological treasures.

The collection features nine pieces, each adorned with Pokemon pendants featuring exquisite diamond accents. For enthusiasts eager to “catch ’em all,” be prepared to indulge in a luxurious splurge.

This isn’t Arsham’s first foray into the world of Pokemon. The 43-year-old artist previously held an exhibition in Japan called A Ripple In Time, which featured many sculptures and paintings of Pokemon.

One of the key items in Tiffany & Co’s collection is this oxidised sterling silver pendant with diamond accents featuring six beloved Pokemon: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Cubone and Mew.

Unfortunately, as many fans have pointed out, Bulbasaur is the only Kanto starter Pokemon that is missing from the collection.

There are also pendants that come with just one Pokemon each – so fans of the aforementioned Pokemon have the option to just buy a pendant with the Pokemon they like.

Rounding up the collection is this gold Pikachu necklace in 18K yellow gold. The necklace comes in two sizes and is housed in a gorgeous Tiffany Blue Poke Ball that will undoubtedly be the crown jewel of any aspiring Pokemon Master.

The Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokemon capsule collection will be available at the Tiffany & Co. Landmark in New York City, Omotesando store in Tokyo and at tiffany.com in North America and Japan this December.

The company has yet to announce the prices of the items. However, a few outlets are reporting that they will cost between USD1,290 (SGD1,737) and USD29,000 (SGD39,000).
