Brunei golfing ace Seruji bin Haji Setia navigated the course to perfection after being crowned winner of the Brunei BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC) Friendly Golf Tournament at the Pantai Mentiri Golf Club in Kampong Mentiri.
The experienced golfer carded a score of 72 to beat his nearest opponent by six strokes as Moksin Junaidi took the runners-up spot with a score of 78. Colonel Azizi completed the podium in the Men’s Gross category with a score of 79.
Meanwhile, Brunei rising star Irwan Hamid captured the nett title with a score of 69 followed by Adam Farhan as runners-up with a score of 71 and Amin Kanra Undug in third place with a same score (on count back).
Lanie Verar won the women’s nett title with a score of 72.
Permanent Secretary (Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud presented prizes to the winners. – Fadhil Yunus
