Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF) was recently awarded ‘Best Islamic Finance Education & Training Brunei 2021’ by the Global Banking & Finance Review at the Global Banking & Finance Awards.

Established in 2010, BILIF, formerly known as Centre for Islamic Banking, Finance and Management (CIBFM) is the Centre of Excellence for the finance industry under the purview of Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB). BILIF provides high-quality learning solutions, and organises signature and collaborative events for human capacity development in the areas of Islamic finance and leadership.
As of December 2021, BILIF has conducted over 550 programmes and has organised 64 events for more than 13,700 participants, including a new suite of Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) programmes and online events.
Winners for the awards include companies of varied sizes across the globe which have successfully demonstrated prominence in the areas of expertise and excellence within the
financial industry.
Since its inception in 2011, the Global Banking & Finance Awards reflect the innovation, achievement, strategy as well as progressive and inspirational changes that take place within the global financial community.
