Green Depot will hold a Mini Thrift event from 10am to 5pm today at Brunei Shell Recreation Club (BSRC) in Panaga.
The price of apparels on sale ranges from BND1 to BND5. All proceeds earned during the event will go towards purchasing necessities for underprivileged families in Kuala Belait.
This event also promotes the ‘reduce’ and ‘reuse’ aspects of the 3Rs as it helps tackle the growing impact of textile pollution on the environment. Thrifting or secondhand shopping is a way to reduce carbon footprint while also finding unique items.
