Belait District Football Association (PBDB) held a briefing at Belait District Branch of the Youth and Sports Department on July 23 to prepare for the Belait District Football 2022.
President of the association Pengiran Saiful Redzali bin Pengiran Jaya Indera Pengiran Haji Mokhtar Putih chaired the briefing. Deputy President Morni bin Haji Zakaria was also present.
Eight teams joined the tournament – Nelayan FC, Liang Lumut ST, Akhdan ST, Hoist FT, Hawa FC, HR FT, Mangelella FC, and Nusantara FC. Their representatives were briefed by Assistant General Secretary Emmielia Kartiena binti Ahmad Zaini who detailed the league’s rules and regulations as well as sportsmanship.
Belait District Head of Referees Pengiran Haji Mohd Saiful Redzuan bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad meanwhile shared regulations teams have to abide by during the tournament.
The event ended with a draw to determine the matches.
The first match will be held on August 7 at Seria Football Arena where Nelayan FC go up against Liang Lumut ST.
