Judicial Commissioner of the Supreme Court Haji Abdullah Soefri bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin advised undergraduates to “get into the mainstream and swim in it”, echoing advice from a former chief justice of Malaysia.
He was speaking as the guest of honour at an annual law dinner at Tarindak D’Seni yesterday, hosted by Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), through its Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Faculty of Law.
Dean of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Faculty of Law Dr Ahmad Masum highlighted the dinner’s importance as a platform for students to connect with legal professionals, fostering relationships and instilling professional values.
