The Ministry of Education (MoE), through the Department of Examinations, released the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level and IGCSE examination results yesterday.
At the national level, 1,190 candidates sat for the exam in the May/June 2023 session, out of which 820 were school candidates and 370 were private candidates.
Meanwhile, at the national level, five candidates (0.42 per cent) obtained eight ‘O’ Level and IGCSE above and 50 candidates (4.20 per cent) obtained five ‘O’ Level and IGCSE above in the May/June 2023 session exam. One hundred and forty candidates (11.76 per cent) obtained four ‘O’ Levels and IGCSE above.
At the school level, five candidates (0.61 per cent) obtained eight ‘O’ Levels and IGCSE above, while 50 candidates (6.10 per cent) obtained five ‘O’ Levels and IGCSE above and 139 candidates (16.95 per cent) obtained at least four ‘O’ Levels and IGCSE above.
Students who sat for the exam can get their result slips at school, while private candidates may collect their result slips at the Department of Examination’s Counter on the ground floor of One-Stop Centre, Block C of the MoE.
Candidates wishing to sit for the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level and IGCSE examinations for the October/November 2023 session, Late Entry Registration is open until September 7.
