Garage sale attracts crowds shopping for a good cause

The Impian Project held a garage sale on Sunday to raise funds for programmes and activities to serve special needs families in Brunei Darussalam.

The garage sale from 8.30am to 4pm saw shoppers browsing through baby items, household goods, sporting goods and many more to find good bargains.

Canadian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ambra Dickie also supported the initiative by joining other shoppers for coffee and light food at the Pop Up Cafe set up by the Tranquility Cafe, a staunch The Impian Project community partner. The Impian Project is the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of Elfera Health and Nursing Care Sdn Bhd committed to advocating early intervention, inclusivity in special needs education, accessibility and to foster a better understanding of the support needed by families in the special needs community.

The Impian Project and the public pooled in their pre-loved items from houseware, kids toys, and clothing for the garage sale.

All proceeds from the sale will be fully utilised for programmes under The Impian Project.
