The Employees Trust Fund (TAP) through the Enforcement Unit continued a series of visits to business premises around the Beribi Gadong area where out of 30 employers’ premises inspected, it was found three local employees had failed to register to the TAP and Supplemental Contributory Pension (SCP) schemes.
The recent visit was aimed to ensure that employers’ register and pay the TAP and SCP schemes contribution of their employees to ensure every employee has retirement savings.
Employers are advised to register their employees to the TAP and SCP schemes to avoid being fined.
