The Mosque Affairs Department, through the Muslimah Affairs Division, continued its series of funeral management courses for 30 Muslimah Guidance Class participants in Kampong Keriam Mosque, Tutong District.
The course was organised with the cooperation of Tutong Mosque Affairs Department and mosque takmir committee members.
The workshop, facilitated by instructors Hajah Suhalawati binti Haji Suhaili and Rosni binti Haji Ibrahim, aimed to increase the knowledge of participants of the guidance class in managing the deceased as well as boost their confidence in handling the funeral management properly.
The course hopes to attract women congregants to ensure adequate corpse management staff will be available, especially in rural areas.
