Over 500 participants, including students, teachers, staff, parents, and guardians from St. John’s School, joined a school-wide walkathon on November 16.
The walkathon, which began at the school and wound through the scenic areas of Kuala Belait Town, was designed to foster community spirit and encourage a healthy lifestyle among attendees.
Chairman of the school’s board of governors, Lee Yin Fah, attended the event as the guest of honour, accompanied by Principal Dr Teh Keng Watt.
The event commenced with a brief aerobic session, after which the guest of honour officially flagged off the participants for their 3-kilometre walk around the Belait District. – DANIEL LIM
