Twenty-seven underprivileged children were treated to a day of fun and memorable experiences at the Fun Day with Underprivileged Children event organised by C4K (Care4Komuniti) in collaboration with local non-governmental organisation (NGO) Hand4Hand. The event, held on Sunday at the Funzania D’Annex Playground, was supported by donations from employees of a private company in Brunei.
The event celebrated 13 children from the Welfare Home Complexand 14 others from underprivileged backgrounds. Aimed at spreading joy and support, the programme featured a variety of fun and engaging activities, providing an opportunity for the children to interact and enjoy themselves.
In her welcoming remarks, C4K Committee Advisor Nur Khairunnisa M Jasni expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
“We deeply appreciate the presence of all children here today. Our objective is to give back to the community and show care to all these children,” she said.
Nur Khairunnisa highlighted C4K’s ongoing efforts to raise funds to support community projects through contributions from staff in Brunei.
“Together, let’s continue to raise our standard of giving and show care to the community in need. May we all be blessed with more sustenance and success in this world and the hereafter,” she added. – Lyna Mohamad
