The Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) celebrated Hari Raya with a fun-filled event at Peak Club yesterday, featuring engaging games like scavenger hunts.
YASKA, in collaboration with the United States (US) Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, aimed to bring joy to paediatric cancer survivors while also commemorating the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
US Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn McClelland and embassy staff joined the children in the event. McClelland emphasised the importance of community engagement and compassion, highlighting the friendship between US and the Sultanate.
The event provided the children a morning of enjoyment and physical activity. – Lyna Mohamad
