Players from the Youngsters Football Club (YFC) Brunei Darussalam and Likas United Football Club (LUFC) Sabah competed in a friendly veteran football match at the Padang Likas in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on April 27.
The match saw LUFC edging ahead with a final score of 4-3.
The contingent from YFC was led by its founder Dr Haji Kamaruddin bin Dato Seri Paduka Haji Talib, who was welcomed by LUFC President Datuk Mohd Zulfikar bin Datuk Ahmad.
The friendly match was one of the club’s annual activities to provide an avenue to maintain a healthy lifestyle and foster ties among players, football clubs and associations.
Team representatives Dr Haji Kamaruddin and Datuk Mohd Zulfikar also exchanged tokens of appreciation at the end of the match. – Daniel Lim
