Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) welcomed 941 new students on Monday for the Freshers’ Week, held from 22nd to 26th July 2024.
This year’s cohort includes Graduate, Bachelor, and UniBridge students, all eager to embark on their academic journey.
The highlight of the event was the Vice-Chancellor’s Special Address, presented by UBD Vice-Chancellor, Dr Hazri Haji Kifle who extended a warm welcome to the new students and provided insights into the values and vision of UBD.
Freshers Week will take place over five days, offering a comprehensive programme designed to facilitate a smooth transition into university life. The orientation week includes introductory briefings on all essential matters, from academic expectations to campus facilities, ensuring students are well-prepared to start their studies. – JAMES KON
