The fourth in a series of roadshows on kidney health was held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) yesterday, in conjunction with World Kidney Day 2023.
The roadshow, organised by the Department of Renal Services, Ministry of Health saw some 200 personnel from the MCYS attend the roadshow as well as a forum on kidney health.
Acting Head of Renal Services Abdul Mu’iz bin Haji Ibrahim said the roadshow is part of raising awarenss on kidney illnesses, with a look at early detection and management.
World Kidney Day is celebrated annually on the second Thursday of March.
The final roadshow will be at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in November. – Rokiah Mahmud
