Brunei Darussalam has one COVID-19 case in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit, while five other cases are in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.
The Ministry of Health announced in its daily statement yesterday that 2.7 per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 73.2 per cent have been administered the third dose.
The vaccination rate for double-dosed children aged five to 11 stands at 75.2 per cent, while 50.2 per cent have received the third dose.
No fatalities were recorded over the last 24 hours. Additionally, 1,068 recoveries were recorded yesterday, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 162,022.
