Four RBAF converts feted at religious ceremony

A ceremony to celebrate the conversion of four Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel took place at Surau Al-Barakah, Rimba Air Base yesterday.

Captain Nurul Khartini binti Akui from Land Engineering, Combat Service Support Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Corporal Coresinata bin Semian from Combat Engineer Squadron, Support Battalion (Sp Bn) RBLF, Private Rahazrinshah bin Abdullah Radio from Command Company, 3rd Battalion RBLF and Private Muhammad Amierul Ezairyn bin Mohd Azmi from Armoured Recce Squadron, Sp Bn RBLF chose Islam as their faith.

Commander of the RBAF Major General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Hamzah bin Haji Sahat presented the new converts with mementos during the ceremony.

The function began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-An’am by Muhamad Nur Amin bin Awang Haji Jali, followed by the recitation of Surah As-Sajdah, Selawat Badriyah, Dikir Marhaban, Surah Al- ’Asr and Tasbih Kaffarah. It concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat.
