Four fined for violating advertising rules

Two advertising firms and two businesses were fined by the Authority for Building Control and Construction Industry (ABCi) Enforcement Section for violating the Building Control (Advertisement, Billboard and Signboard) Regulations 2016.

The first advertising firm was fined BND500 and BND1,000 where the first offence was putting up a signboard not according to permit while failing to display a reference number. The second offence was the displaying of an advertisement signage without permit.

The second advertising firm was fined BND1,000 for displaying an advertisement signboard without permit at a traffic  light area.

The first business was fined BND500 for displaying an advertisement signboard without permit while the second company was fined BND500 for the  same offence.

They are required to settle the fines issued on February 24 within 14 days.
