Two COVID-19 patients in Category 5 are receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), while four Category 4 cases are receiving respiratory assistance and being closely monitored.
The Ministry of Health (MoH) announced this in its daily statement yesterday, adding that no COVID-19 fatalities had been reported over the last 24 hours.
The COVID-19 vaccination coverage rate for citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who have received the third dose stands at 74.7 per cent, while 6.5 per cent of the populace had been administered the fourth dose.
Additionally, 79.4 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received the second dose, while 52.9 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.
A total of 1,199 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 199,740.
