The Do Your Part Forum: Care and Help For Strays was recently held to address local issues relating to stray animals.
The virtual forum was organised by a group of officers undergoing the Youth Executive Programme Cohort 6 under the leadership of Civil Service Institute (IPA) on March 6.
The group, Team Muezza, makes up of staff from different ministerial backgrounds and joined efforts in organising the online forum as part of their community work project,
Projek: Pawsitive.
They also invited representatives from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) involved in raising awareness and rescuing strays to share ideas and discuss ways to mitigate the problems.
The panellists were: Care and Actions for Strays (CAS) representative Allysa Koh; Save Our Strays (SOS); UBD founder Dr Sharifah Huda; and PawsUp TV founder Jay Lau.
