The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) held a Nuzul Al-Quran and donation ceremony in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration at its Banquet Hall yesterday.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof was present accompanied by deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, acting permanent secretary, head of departments, officers and staff at the PMO.
The event commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Mosque Affairs Officer at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin bin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Emran.
Islamic Da’wah Centre Religious Development Officer Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapa, delivered a talk on ‘Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian Dengan Petunjuk Al-Qur’an’.
The event continued with the recitation of Selawat Tafrijiyyah led by a Dikir group from the Royal Brunei Police Force.
Forty recipients from the PMO received donations from Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (R) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi.
The event concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Haji Mohammad Izzat Izzuddin.
