Forty employees receive first aid certificates

Forty employees of Mulia Hotel who successfully completed a two-day Occupational First Aid Course (OFAC) course, were officially certified as first aiders at a ceremony at the hotel yesterday.

The participants were divided into groups of 10 over the course of two days, and received instruction on first aid theories, followed by practical training on life-saving techniques.

The programme concluded with theory and practical examinations.

Certified Red Crescent first aid trainer Siti Ummi Az Zahraa from Begawan International, a recognised first aid training company approved by Safety, Health and Environment National Authority (SHENA) facilitated the two-day course.
