Fifteen former officers of the 73rd intake for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) visited Radio Television Brunei’s (RTB) main studio in Jalan Sungai Akar recently.
Led by 8885 Warrant Officer 2 (Rtd) Harun bin Haji Tumas, the visit was organised by 8880 Corporal (Rtd) Haji Hassan bin Tuah, to raise awareness and knowledge of the duties and responsibilities of RTB as one of the government’s main media outlet.
The group also learnt about the latest equipment utilised by RTB to capture and broadcast news and stories across the nation.
The group was welcomed by RTB Public Relations Officer Mohd Mahdi bin Haji Mohd Yassin, who also shared the history of RTB with 65 years of radio broadcast and 48 years in television.
The group also toured radio and television studios as well as learnt about analogue and digital broadcasting systems. – Daniel Lim
