A foreign woman working as a waitress was brought to the Kuala Belait Immigration Law Enforcement Office for further investigation after she was found in violation of Section 15(2) Chapter 17 of the Immigration Act, where a foreign worker in the Sultanate must work under the authorised employer.
She was apprehended during the ‘OPS Sakat’ 92/2023 operation on July 18 at a private company in Kuala Belait.
The employer and office owner have also been questioned for further investigation. – Lyna Mohamad
