Members of the Diplomatic Corps recently paid a special visit to Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) to learn more about the institution.
BKISHHB Director Dr Haji Mohammed Hussain bin Pehin Penyurat Haji Ahmad welcoming the foreign envoys, briefed them on the institution’s history and ongoing developments. The foreign envoys visited exhibition galleries showcasing Islamic manuscripts, astronomy tools, tasbih and other artefacts.
They also visited the Rambut Mulia Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam gallery, open to the public until tomorrow, in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul, the celebration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
BKISHHB hoped the visit had opened opportunities for collaboration in various areas, including exhibitions, conservation, research and information dissemination. – Rokiah Mahmud
