More than 50 local Manchester United football club fans from various local fan clubs gathered together to discuss further development for the local Manchester United fan club and celebrate the achievements of the popular football club.
Present as the guest of honour during the gathering was Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari.
In his welcoming speech, the event’s chairman, Haji Muhammad Taha, shared that Brunei is in the process of registering as an official Manchester United Football Fan Club.
“We are here as one, showing appreciation to the club we support,” said the chairman of the event and founder of the local Manchester United football club, UKHUAW.
He added that the gathering was to celebrate Manchester United’s qualification for the Champions League and the club’s reaching the FA Club final.
