The Sultanate’s football fitness instructors and aspiring coaches forged closer ties following the conclusion of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) Introductory Fitness Course last Wednesday.

This was highlighted by participant Muhammad Hadi Dinie bin Haji Abdul Rahman during the closing ceremony at the Lecture Theatre, FABD House.

He said while representing his colleagues, “Insya Allah, we will convey and practice our knowledge from the course to the players of our team whether it is junior or senior playing in the Brunei league.”

He added, “In the meantime, the closeness and sacrifice of time and the sweat during the course made us establish a strong relationship among the coaches.

“We are proud to have been selected to attend the course. We hope that it will be a stepping stone for us to work hard and improve ourselves to take the next course in the future, Insya Allah.” He said coaches were taught how to develop and improve the level of fitness of football players; anatomy of the muscles; fitness tests; strength and conditioning; and some aspects of health and fitness for the development of football players.
