Fogging is not required and wiping down surface areas with cleaning agents found at home is sufficient to sanitise an area from COVID-19, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar.
“If fogging gives individuals more confidence, then it is up to them,” said the minister, adding surface areas such as table tops, doors and places easily touched by hands should be wiped “with regular soap or detergent found at home”, without needing to buy expensive cleaning materials.
