Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) presented prizes to five winners of the BIBD NEXGEN Wallet campaign yesterday.
The campaign, which ran from November 15, 2022 until January 15, 2023 aimed to encourage the adoption of BIBD’s digital banking services among its customers.
During the promotion, BIBD customers who are eligible registered and activated BIBD NEXGEN Services such as the NEXGEN Wallet, BIBD QuickPay and BIBD Virtual Prepaid Mastercard (vCard). The grand prize winner walked home with an Apple Watch Ultra while the monthly winners were rewarded with Beats Studio buds.
Consolation prizes, consisting of BIBD merchandise, were also given as part of the prize draw.
Present at the prize presentation ceremony held at the bank’s Kiulap branch were BIBD staff, who also received on behalf of the recipients who were unable to attend.
BIBD QuickPay is a mobile payment service which utilises QR code to allow users to make payments and transfer funds quickly and easily using their mobile devices.
With BIBD QuickPay, users can make payments without the need for cash or physical credit cards, and transactions can be completed within seconds.
