The Public Service Department yesterday handed over donations to five charitable organisations – Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans (DANA), Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, National Welfare Body Fund, Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei and Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA) Brunei.
The donation collection came from the sales of shirts and charity donation boxes at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien during the charity event in conjunction with Civil Service Day on May 19. Some BND5,700 was collected at the recreational event.
Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Ajman bin Haji Meludin was present along with Deputy Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the PMO and Director General of the Public Service Department. – James Kon
