In fostering the spirit of cooperation among personnel and the responsibility of maintaining cleanliness as well as preservation of the environment, the Fisheries Department held a cleaning campaign at the boat landing site at Kampong Pengkalan Sibabau yesterday.
According to the department, the cleaning campaign is led by Acting Director of Fisheries Wanidawati binti Tamat with personnel of the department.
The campaign began with a recitation of Doa and a warm-up session. The campaign is one of the department’s initiatives to raise awareness and achieve the goal of nurturing the attitude of maintaining cleanliness and preserving the environment of boat landing sites for the need to create a clean and safe environment for fishermen or the public.
