Mohd Fakhrul Mubin bin Zulkifli donated blood for the first time yesterday when he joined his employer’s blood donation drive organised in collaboration with Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre.
He decided to join Regus Brunei’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to help replenish the blood stock and save lives.
With this positive experience, he pledged to join more such events.
Meanwhile, Thina binti Ariffin said her motivation to join the event was from the desire to help and also for the health benefits of donating blood.
The Borneo Futures employees said she first donated at RIPAS Hospital Blood Donation Centre in 2014 and the event yesterday at the PGGMB building was her 10th.
She said this is the first time she donated blood outside of RIPAS Hospital as the blood donation campaign was held in her office building.
The event collected 46 pints of blood.
