NBT Brunei Sdn Bhd, authorised distributor of Toyota vehicles in the Sultanate, yesterday launched the new Toyota Yaris Cross in the Brunei market.
On hand to officiate the launch were NBT Brunei Managing Director Haji Ahmad Omar bin Pehin Dato Haji Husin, NBT Brunei Senior General Sales Manager Leong Cheng Soon, BIBD At-Tamil Managing Director Haji Md Said bin Haji Zania and Baiduri Finance’s Head of Sales Haji Md Ali bin Haji Metussin.
Also present at the ceremony were eight customers who made a booking for the car prior to the launch.
The Yaris Cross is a blend of Yaris hatchback and Cross SUV. The compact SUV comes in two variants – internal combustion engine (ICE) and hybrid engine vehicle (HEV) – with four colour options – Greenish Gun Metal, Silver Metallic, Attitude Black and Platinum White Pearl.
The Yaris Cross features a panoramic roof, wireless charger, and 10.1 audio with Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
Prior to the viewing, some 100 guests were treated to a performance by a dance troupe from Relentless Entertainment.
The first-generation Toyota Yaris Cross is available for test drive at all NBT Brunei showrooms starting today. – James Kon
