UPI – Firefighters in Massachusetts, United States got an unusual visit when they spotted a dog and three goats strolling past their station unaccompanied.
The New Bedford Fire Department said Engine 5 crew members saw a mother goat, her two kids and a dog wandering down Acushnet Avenue with no owner in sight.
Concerned for the animals’ safety, firefighters – with help from a passerby and his dog – put a leash on the mother goat and guided her into Station 5, with the baby goats following close behind.
The dog accompanying the goats was also safely secured by the helpful neighbour, the department shared in a Facebook post.
