The Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) staff yesterday handed over BND30,000 financial assistance to 10 families who lost their homes after a fire broke out at the Seria Barrack houses.
A total of 46 victims have been temporarily housed at the Municipal Hall in Seria.
BSP Communication and External Affairs (CEA) Manager Suriani Garip, handed over the donations to the representatives of the families.
Kampong Lorong 3 Village Head Haji Saidin bin Haji Ibrahim and National Disaster Management Centre volunteer Haji Muhd Salleh bin Haji Osman were also present.
