Some 488 individuals participated in a fire drill and evacuation exercise at Rimba Point Sdn Bhd on Wednesday.
According to Fire and Rescue Department (FRD), the training scenario involved a fire at one of the shops.
Staff and the public were instructed to evacuate the building.
Two fire engines and 10 firefighters from Rimba Fire Station were involved in the exercise.
The drill aimed to instil a sense of responsibility and raise awareness on fire safety while showing the proper evacuation procedure during a building fire.
The FRD also recommended that fire drills be carried out at least twice a year.
