Findlay education services agency announced an upcoming visit to Brunei Darussalam by The University of Edinburgh.
The University of Edinburgh in Scotland is 440 years old and is a member of the Russell Group. It is ranked 15th in the QS World Rankings 2023 and 29th in the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2023. Its global reputation is well earned as 44 per cent of its student population are international students from 180 countries.
The university is also popular with Bruneian students who enjoy activities organised by the Brunei Edinburgh Society. One of the university’s many strengths is their reputation in data science. The University of Edinburgh has the largest computing department in Europe. It hosts the United Kingdom’s GBP79 million national supercomputer, Archer2 and is establishing five data-driven innovation hubs using high-speed data analysis to tackle global issues such as climate change, space exploration and food production.

As part of the visit, International Recruitment Manager for Southeast Asia and Australasia Louise Zeelenberg will host a free presentation open to the public today at 5pm at Findlay’s office in Gadong, for students keen on finding out more about studying at the globally renowned university.
