Legislative Council (LegCo) member Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim expressed hope that feedback from LegCo members will be received with an open mind, positively and constructively, so that any policies formulated are more solid, robust and are supported by the people.
He said this during his adjournment speech on the final day of the LegCo meeting yesterday, adding that any findings, policies and regulations agreed on during the meeting will be publicised to enable the public, the business community and stakeholders to engage and participate in national development towards Brunei Vision 2035.
He also hoped that the 12th National Development Plan will provide the business community and foreign direct investors with confidence of the potential of the Sultanate. – Rokiah Mahmud
