Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) is organising the UBD Career Fair from July 12 to 14 from 8.30am to 4.30pm (closed from noon to 2pm on July 14).
The three-day event, themed ‘Find your niche’ will feature scheduled walk-in interviews, CV clinic and one-on-one sessions by UBD career guides.
The annual event, organised by UBD’s Centre of Networking, Employment and Career Training (UBD CoNECT) is held in support of the Office of Alumni Relations and Advancement (OARA).
The event aims to strengthen collaboration between UBD and its industry partners in increasing the marketability of its students and graduates while bridging the gap of industries’ expectations with UBD future-ready graduates.
The event anticipates the participation of a variety of industries ranging from educational institutions, food and beverages, communications, health, and several government agencies, which will offer employment opportunities and walk-in interviews for full-time and part-time vacancies as well as internship placements.
Pre-event activities comprising career talks and career workshops featuring industry experts will be held on July 5 and 6.
The event will also see a blood donation drive in collaboration with Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital and Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC).
