Financial aid for strays, shelters

James Kon

SC Tubular Solutions (B) Sdn Bhd recently donated to three non-profit organisations (NGOs) as part of the company’s commitment to rescue the population of stray dogs and cats on the streets and in shelters.

The first two donations were in February and March totalling BND4,095 to two NGOs in the capital and Muara area. Sejahtera Community and PawsUp received the contributions to fund medical bills and treatment for the animals.

The company also donated BND5,000 to Love Paw Sanctuary in Kuala Belait recently.

As part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the donation will be used for the trap-neuter-return (TNR) programme as well as the installation of lights around the shelters and streets.

Love Paw Sanctuary’s mission is to give strays in the country a better chance of survival by caring for them.
