The Filipino Bowlers’ Club (FBC) held an induction ceremony to welcome its new officers with Paul Mandid officially sworn in as the new president along with other newly elected officers.
Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Marian Jocelyn R Tirol-Ignacio presented the induction certificates.
Mandid, in his acceptance speech, vowed to uphold the club’s values, focusing on unity and excellence in bowling. The ambassador, meanwhile, praised the club for its efforts in uniting the Filipino community through sports.
The event also saw the announcement of tournament champions, The Turkey Hunters, who won the Class ‘A’ division, while GTM Thunderbowls claimed the top spot in Class ‘B’. The ambassador presented the trophies.
